Today is the "Meet the Parent" day. First time Stanley and I attended after Joy has attended 3 years of school there...haha.. we simply bo chap so my mum or my sis usually go on our behalf. Very embarassing... the clerk asked us "may I know which teacher you are meeting?" Both of us blurred... eeer... we dun know. Which class is she in? Luckily we know she is in K1 this year..haha.. So her form teacher is Ms Nadya and her chinese teacher is Ms Min Lin.
Her form teacher said Joy is a very helpful (Kapo lah) student, very matured and obedient. Only occassionally loud when play. She is also the top 3 students there...Hmmm.. I wonder how they grade as there is no test..or rather I dunno there is one..haha...Stanley beaming with pride...I told him there are only 3 students in the class lah..haha..we were advised to be more involved in her homework..keke.. eeerr.. I dun even know she has homework to do...pai say lah.. I think we are the least kiasu parents..teacher asked if we have any question. We have none.. we saw other parents asked them lots of questions...eerrr...what is there to ask? Isn't this just play school? No need to be so serious right? Anyway I guess everyone is different..
Today is also the day that DBS is announcing who will be retrenched. To be honest, we are a bit worried. Stanley has met his whole year target but that does not guaranteed that he won't be retrenched. Maybe becoz we are relying on one person income now... can't imagine what will happen when both of us lost our income...hence, really must save for rainy days like this. Can tell that Stanley is worried but he didn't say a word. Feel bad... hope my business can do well enough to pay me a salary so that he won't feel so pressurise..
