A distant friend's husband passed away suddenly. Her hubby happened to be Stanley's university hallmate. We knew about the news 'cos our mutual friend has to habit of reading the obituary and saw his picture. She couldn't believe her eyes....I couldn't believe my ears...
According to her, they were at home deciding where to go for dinner later. She went to the kitchen to get a drink while her hubby was reading newspaper. Suddenly, he just collapsed and had fits... she quickly called for the ambulance but it was too late. She still cannot reconcile the fact that her hubby has left her. SO SAD...my heart went out to her though we weren't close. But he was so young and they were married not too long ago....
During the recent gathering, my friend told me that they were boasting about their achievement in career. Most of them were goal getter and willing to spend long hours at work. While that is important, we must learn how to strike a balance between work and family. Sometimes we need to take time off to smell the roses....
Joy loves to point to the sky and said," Mummy look...the sky is so blue." She just made me realised that I forgot to look up and see how beautiful the world is.

Isn't it a wonder, that you have been breathing in air all this time, but yet you did not realise that you are actually breathing. It happens so naturally. - Taking things for granted.
But seriously, do you think you can give up your job for Joy? I know its more to just saying you wanna quit but i m just curious.
