3 days ago, Joy requested to have her own room. She wants to sleep alone just like Ee Hsuan, Zyon and Rachel. I am pleasantly surprised. Deep inside me wonder how long will her enthusiasm lasts.
We spent the entire sunday cleaning up one room for her. There were 4 bedrooms in my flat. 3 bedrooms become our storage rooms without us realising...haha.. we bought too many unnecessary things over our 8 years stay. Being lazy, we simply put all the rubbish from one room to the other bedroom...*sigh*. We brought her to choose a nice bedsheet and quilt. She was very happy and we decorated her room together. After we thought it is completed, she said, " Mummy, there is no side table light and I need a tissue box and a dustbin." Amazing right? She knew exactly what she wants...
First night, she said good night to us and chase us out of her bedroom. About 15 mins later, she cried and said there is a monster in her room. So, we pray for her and assured her that there is no monster. Very shortly, she slept.
Second night, same thing happened. She cried and say she is scared. I felt her heartbeat and it was beating very fast. Her hands were cold too. I felt very heartache and asked if she likes to shift back to our room. She said no. She still wants to give it a try. So, we prayed and I stayed with her till she slept.
Last night, she started to monkey around. Keep coming out of her room and asked what are we doing. We reprimand her. Finally, she went back to her room and slept.
I thought my little girl is brave!
